Over the past year, HelloFresh has achieved a milestone by delivering over one billion meals to customers. This is the first time that the company behind the meal boxes has reached this feat. Customers ordering more meals in the meal box per week is the main reason for this achievement, according to TheGrocer1.These figures were revealed in the quarterly report of the meal box provider.
HelloFresh generated a turnover of almost 2 billion euros in the last quarter, an increase of almost 19% on an annual basis, according to Investegate2.
Revenues thus increased from 6 billion in 2021 to 7.6 billion in 2022. Co-founder Dominik Richter commented on 2022: “2022 presented us with several new challenges and our teams have worked hard to successfully overcome them.
Despite the difficult macroeconomic environment, we continue to see healthy growth rates and strong profitability.” In 2022, the HelloFresh group further expanded the Green Chef brand to the United Kingdom and started working with the Factor brand in Canada.
